NATURE TRAIL

The Kitulgala forest is a secondary rain forest situated beside the Kelani River, one of our longest rivers. There is a tributary flowing through the forest to this river. The forest reserve has a high biodiversity. Though it is mostly secondary forest, it’s faunal and floral diversity is very similar to a primary forest. Wild boar, Toque Macaque, Purple faced leaf monkey, and Barking deer are some of the interesting mammal species.

Among the interesting bird species Red faced Malkoha, Ceylon Blue Magpie, Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher, Frog Mouth and Layard’s Parakeet are outstanding.

• Any transportation up to the point
• Any extra beverages or food (Water bottles and refreshments which should be carried by clients at all times)
• Any personal effects not mentioned here
• Any tips to the staff.
• All other expense which is not included in “rate include” column

Full payment with the confirmation

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• 90 Days or more – 200 US $ Administrative fee
• 60 to 89 Days – 15 % of the tour cost will be charged
• 30 to 59 Days – 25 % of the tour cost will be charged
• 14 Days to 29 Days – 50 % of the tour cost will be charged.
• 8 Days to 13 Days – 75 % of the tour cost will be charged.
• Less than 7 days no refund.

*Days will be counted from the 6.00am on the tour starting day
