DAY 1
Airport / Colombo or Negombo 

  • You would be met by your personal Chauffeur Guide with a Special Welcome at the Bandaranayke International Airport and transfer to your Hotel in Colombo or Negombo  
  • Morning – Colombo Bazaar Tour Sri Lanka Style (By Foot)
  • On Completion Visit the Colombo Fort Railway Station, Famous Red Mosque, Beira Lake, & Gangarama Temple, 
  • Thereafter drive pass / walk through Galle Face Green, a long and open area of beautiful green grass that stretches about half a kilometer along the heat of Colombo alongside the Ocean. 
  • You will also have the opportunity to drop by @ the – Colombo Museum, Town Hall, The Fort, Slave Island, BMICH, Independence Square, Race Course & the Viharamahadevi Park

DAY 2
Negombo / Pinnawela / Dambulla / Sigiriya 

  • Breakfast at Your Hotel Proceed to Sigiriya. 
  • En route On Request travel to the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela The Orphanage was established to feed, nurse and house young Elephants found abandoned by their mothers
  • Afternoon visit the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple complex
  • Rock Cave Temples of Dambulla – the 2,000 year old frescoes in the Rock Cave Temple of Dambulla, the biggest cave temple in Sri Lanka. Hidden amongst the caves, there are 48 statues of the Buddha dating from the 12th Century.

DAY 3
Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa / Sigiriya

  • Early Start – Breakfast your Hotel Proceed to Polonnaruwa 
  • Polonnaruwa – the 2nd Capital of Singhalese Kings dating back to the 11th & 12th century, The entire landscape of the region is surrounded by huge man made reservoirs, the most famous of which is the Parakarama Samudra, Numerous monuments are found in this city like the Gal Vihara complex of four massive images of the Buddha & fascinating Buddhist temples, the Lankatileka and Watadage, the Galpotha, the Lotus bath, the Kiri Vihara Dagoba and the remains of a former Temple of the Tooth are other impressive sights. Today the ancient city of Polonnaruwa remains one of the best planned archaeological relic sites in the country.
  • Early Afternoon – Climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress
    The 5th Century Rock Fortress is a World Heritage site built by King Kashyapa. The spectacular citadel of Sigiriya rises sheer and impregnable out of the denuded plains of the dry zone, sitting atop a huge outcrop of gneiss rock towering of 200m that surrounds the countryside; it is one of the most memorable single attractions! A truly remarkable archeological site made unforgettable by its dramatic settings. 
  • Afternoon – Village Safari + Lunch Sri Lankan Style
    The village safari is catered to give you a feeling of how traditional & primitive Sri Lankan villagers and households used to operate before modernization began. You will be first taken in a bullock cart ride. This was the mode of transportation which local villagers used many years back for their day-to-day travel. Next you will be taken across a beautiful lake on a traditional wooden boat, which is manually propelled. Then, you will be welcomed to a model house which is built using local and natural building materials. At this point you will get a demonstration by a local villager on how a traditional Sri Lankan meal is being prepared, using all organic and natural ingredients, whilst using primitive methods and primitive technology. Here you can also participate and get a hand on experience on the cooking process, and taste a traditional local meal / snack.

DAY 4
Sigiriya / Anuradhapura / Kandy (2 hours 30 minutes travel time) 

  • Early Breakfast @ your Hotel 
  • Optional – Anuradhapura 
  • Anuradhapura The sacred town of Sri Lanka and the birthplace of Sinhala civilization It was the capital of Sri Lanka from fifth century BC to AD 1017. When many parts of the world were emerging from the Stone Age, Anuradhapura had already become an advanced civilization. Merchants of the city traded from all round the world, citizens had sophisticated systems of man-made lakes and canals and structure of the town was well-planned. The place has been marked by Ptolemy in his first ever map.
  • Thereafter proceed to Kandy.  
  • En route visit a well maintained Spice Garden in Matale
  • On completion proceed to Kandy.
  • Visit the City of Kandy the most famous Landmark of Kandy is the Lake, in the center of the City. The Kandy market is a great bazaar full of sounds and existing trade.
  • On Request – The Silk & Batik Factory, Great Kandyan Bazaar, the Gem Museum & the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha
  • Early Evening – Witness the spectacular Cultural Show

DAY 5 
Kandy / Nuwara Eliya 

  • Breakfast at your Hotel Travel to Nuwara Eliya
  • From Kandy to Nuwara Eliya the road starts to ascend steadily, at 1,500m, you will be in the Tea country, where you can witness green tea planes checkered with white-colored tea factories.  & beneath your eyes you’ll see tea plantations and small speckled white tea factories. 
  • You will have the opportunity to visit a Working Tea Factory, where you will be taught how to become a tea expert and you can taste test the world-renowned Ceylon tea.
  • The Resort town of Nuwara Eliya, also called Little England, is situated 2070m above sea level and is next to a little lake, surrounded by tea Bush Mountains.
  • Evening @ Leisure – drop in at the Local Pub (Sri Lankan Style)

DAY 6
Nuwara Eliya / Ella 

  • Breakfast at your Hotel Breakfast @ the Hotel 
  • Your Chauffeur Guide will drop you at the Nanu Oya Railway Station for a Scenic Train Ride through the Clouds. 
  • (Train Ride to Ella) Reserved Seats subject to Availability 
  • You would be met by your personal Chauffeur Guide at the Ella Railway Station and transfer you to your Hotel in Ella

Ella / Yala  

  • Early Breakfast @ the Hotel proceed to Yala.

DAY 9
Yala / Weligama (1 hour 30 minutes travel time)  

  • Early Morning – Leopard Safari (Jeep Safari to Yala National Park)
  • Yala National Park
    The most popular national park in Sri Lanka Established in 1938 with a land area of approx 121000 ha This Park is situated in the Hambantota and Monaragala district. It is home for almost all the animals and birds that are found in Sri Lanka
  • On Completion proceed to Weligama En Route View the Still Fisherman & the surrounding area
  • Evening @ Leisure on the Beach

DAY 10
Weligama / Mirissa / Weligama 

Early Start – Optional -Whale and Dolphin Watching Boat Tour

DAY 11
Weligama / Galle / Balapitiya / Colombo   

  • Breakfast @ the Hotel 
  • Travel to Colombo en route Visit the Galle Fort the old part of the City within the Dutch Fort built in the 17th century has been declared a world Heritage site by UNESCO. 
  • A walk on the ramparts will give you an excellent view of the ancient harbor which was known as Tar shish in the bible.
  • We will pass the District Court and the original entrance to the Fort en route to the Dutch Reformed Church built in the 17th century, Galle has also become famous in the recent past for the quality of boutique Hotels, which have sprung up within the Fort. The New Town to the north of the Fort was badly affected by the Tsunami in 2004. Galle is the home of the famous International cricket stadium, which is been re-built
  • On Completion On Completion Travel to Colombo en Route Stopover @ Balapitiya visit the Turtle Hatchery 
  • You would also have the opportunity to embark on a Boat Safari trough the Mangroves where you would explore the Maduganga River which is shallow water body in the south-west of Sri Lanka.
